doorlist is a tool for making guest lists and QR tickets. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

18 and older only

You must be 18 or older to host or to get a ticket. Ticking the box is your promise, not a check by us: we do not verify anyone's age. Hosts are responsible for checking ID and enforcing age at their own door.

Hosts are responsible for their events

• doorlist only makes the list and the tickets. We don't run, staff, insure or approve any event.
• Hosts are responsible for safety, alcohol, age limits, noise, permits and anything else that happens at their event.
• Hosts and co-hosts may use guest names and phone numbers only to run that event. No exporting, selling or reusing them.
• Tickets are free for now. There are no payments or refunds on doorlist.
• If someone makes a claim against doorlist because of your event, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

What doorlist does not do

We don't check anyone's identity, age or ID, and we don't check hosts' permits or insurance. We don't serve or control alcohol, provide security, manage crowds, or enforce how many people are let in. The guest count and the scanner are tools for the host, not a promise that an event is safe or lawful.

Not allowed

• Events or content that are illegal, or that harass, threaten or exploit anyone.
• Selling drugs, cannabis, prescription medicine, weapons or alcohol without a license, at or through an event.
• Events meant for people under 18.
• Fake events, scams, or collecting people's details under false pretenses.
• Bots, scraping, or grabbing tickets in bulk.
• Copying, forging or reselling tickets.

Flyers and what you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You let us show it on your event page and in link previews while the event is on doorlist, and nothing more. Only post images you have the right to use. To report an image that infringes your copyright, email doorlist.help@gmail.com with the event link and proof that you own it.

Accounts

Accounts use passkeys. If you lose every device with your passkey, we may not be able to recover the account. We can suspend or delete accounts and events that break these terms.

No guarantees

doorlist is in beta and provided as is. It may have bugs or go down, including at the door. Keep a backup (a second phone, a printed list). To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it or from events run with it.

Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.

Changes

We may update these terms. We keep a record of which version you agreed to and when.
